The Blues head to The Frost Financial Stadium on Saturday (3pm) as they look to make it three consecutive wins in a hard run of fixtures. Justin Gardner’s men have nicked victories against leaders Hornchurch and high-flying Dereham Town and will be hoping to cause another upset. “Canvey are third in the league and it has been good to get victories over clubs in and around the promotion places, but we’re not thinking about the play-offs at the minute,” Gardner said. “You’ve got to remember this is a tough league and there is still so much to play for, so we’re keeping our feet firmly on the ground. “We’re seven or eight points off safety as well despite our league position, so we’re just enjoying the games as they come which is the main focus as well as keeping the team in the league as it’s our first season back. “Come closer towards the end of the season… Read full this story
