1. RHP Ryne Stanek still hasn’t gotten over the hump of being successful on a major-league mound. Promoted after another impressive Triple-A stint, he came in Friday with bases loaded in the seventh, looked sharp in striking out two, then gave up a grand slam. 2. C Wilson Ramos continued his quiet push for one of the longer standing Rays records: Jason Bartlett’s 19-game hitting streak set in 2009. Ramos’ fourth-inning single against the Orioles moved him to 17 games, with just Quinton McCracken (18 in 1998) to pass for second. 3. Rookie 2B Joey Wendle had cooled considerably since his hot start, 0-for-19 over the previous 10 days, which made it look even odder to see him hitting third in the lineup, though he did single in his first at-bat.
