FOR nearly three years, the issue of anti-Semitism in Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party has rumbled on. Some days it has had lots of coverage. Other days it has been all but forgotten. But when on Tuesday evening veteran Labour MP Margaret Hodge confronted the Labour leader and called him an “anti-Semite and racist” to his face, it crystallised the story — which is that Mr Corbyn has quite deliberately turned the Labour Party into a racist party. Labour is now an institutionally anti-Semitic party — and this has been a conscious strategy pursued by Mr Corbyn and his acolytes. On Tuesday afternoon, Labour’s National Executive Committee took perhaps the most shameful decision in the party’s existence, agreeing to allow anti-Semites to remain in its ranks. The definition of anti-Semitism drawn up by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) has been adopted by governments and organisations across the world. Here in Britain, it has been adopted by the UK Government, the Scottish Government and the Welsh Assembly.
