Nathan Peterman is a bad NFL quarterback. Across eight career appearances, he’s been as bad as you can imagine. Probably worse, in fact. But Bills fans are taking their sadness to a whole new level this week. After all, the NFL can be a cruel, cruel place sometimes. When fan bases go rabid wild over how poor their team is playing, it can lead to a number of things. You’ve got bandwagon fans, Voodoo Dolls and even donning a rival’s jersey. But now … billboard ads? Welp, it’s happening. Bills fans have had very little to cheer about through nine weeks of the season. Especially after seeing their quarterbacks play poorly and thrown aside like yesterday’s trash. Josh Allen has had some bright spots this year, but when it comes to Peterman under center, fans completely lose it. Just recently, a Buffalo fan created a GoFundMe page for him to retire. Yikes. The very same person, Bilal Chaudhry, has now created a new advertising campaign in the form of billboards saying “Fire Peterman” in the area of New Era Field. The goal is to raise a mere $10,000. “If we can’t buy out his contract, we will get him fired! #BillsMafia deserve better,” the GoFundMe Page states. On Tuesday, head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that Derek Anderson will be starting against the Jets on Sunday if Josh Allen is unable to go.
