Yaya Toure will make a guest appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football for Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Wolves. Toure, who has been linked with a move to Celtic during the January transfer window, spent eight years at the Etihad, winning three league titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups. He endured a frosty relationship with Pep Guardiola but the extent of the friction between the two was revealed after he left the club last summer when he claimed his former manager “often has problems with Africans”. Toure also said he wanted to “break the myth” surrounding the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss who he believed took him “for a rival.” Toure is currently a free agent after leaving Olympiakos last week after making just four appearances. Reports in Greece suggest Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has discussed efforts to sign the midfielder with Toure’s brother Kolo, who is part of the coaching staff at Parkhead.
