WARANGAL: Smart India Hackathon 2019, Hardware Edition, the world’s biggest open innovation model concluded on Friday at SR Engineering College campus, one of the 18 nodal centers across the country. The event has been organised by MHRD, AICTE, i4c and Persistent Systems. About 250 teams have been shortlisted for the gand finale of the Hardware Edition from varied sectors like Smart Communication, Healthcare, Agriculture & Rural Development, Smart vehicles, Food Tech, Robotics, Waste Management, Clean Water Renewable energy and security across the country. In SR Engineering College, 8 teams from different parts of the country (Tamilnadu, Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana) have been working tirelessly throughout the finale to translate their solutions to reality. Team Wisdom Pack (Aditya Institutte of Technology, Chennai, Tamilnadu) was declared winner of the complex problem statement received Rs 1 lakh as prize money. Team Reboot Rebels (Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbotore, Tamilnadu) were declared winners of the Complicated problem statements and received Rs 75,000. Team Wisdom pack developed a machine for Household Solar Incinerator and team Reeboot Rebels has developed a solution for Intravenous fluid transfusion monitoring system AICTE official Subba Rao Kothuri observed that the innovations of students participating in SIH’19 hardware edition were very advanced.
