The Championship transfer window has closed for business after a hectic few weeks. Deals were still going through well past the deadline as teams looked to move players in and out. But who did the business in the window? Here’s how we rated the transfer window along with a few of our Championship rivals. Swansea City – Ian Mitchelmore Daniel James’ departure was as crushing as it was inevitable, and the exit of Oli McBurnie to Sheffield United represented a major blow for Swansea. He scored 24 goals in all competitions last season and won’t be easy to replace. Steve Cooper’s side have made no fewer than six signings though, with many of those being to improve the attacking options such as Kristoffer Peterson, Also Kalulu and Sam Surridge. Offloading the likes of Jordan Ayew and Jefferson Montero leaves the club in a healthier position financially, although only time will tell just how good Swansea’s recruits are.
