Vitality Netball Superleague 2021: Fixtures, coverage and results

Keep up to date with the fixtures, coverage and results when it comes to the 2021 Vitality Netball Superleague season on Sky Sports. Due to COVID-19, the competition is being be held across two centralised venues - Studio 001 in Wakefield and then the Copper Box Arena in London. This is to ensure that every match can be played under consistent COVID-19 protocols and there will be a season-long testing programme in place. Every contest of the season will be available on Sky Sports (Sky Sports Arena & Sky Sports Mix), the Sky Sports YouTube channel or England Netball YouTube channel. New for the 2021 season are 12-minute quarters and draws will be permitted. Franchises' match-day squads are allowed to have 12 players, with three points for a victory, one for a draw and none for a loss. Such was the battle, that it came down to ISL’s first-ever sudden death in a penalty-shootout to decide the first finalist of season 7. And it turned out to be Mumbai City FC who had the last laugh as they edged FC Goa on penalties 6-5 at the GMC Stadium, Bambolim. One of the highlights of the thriller was when both coaches sprung a surprise as they decided to substitute their goalkeepers with the contest heading into the penalty shootout. 1 2192429 Goa brought on Naveen Kumar while Mumbai raised some eyebrows when they decided to field Phurba Lachenpa in place of skipper and one of the best goalkeepers of the season Amrinder Singh. Medina (Ohio) High Top247 quarterback Drew Allar announced his commitment to Penn State on Monday, as the Big Ten program beat out the likes of Notre Dame, Iowa State, Michigan, Indiana and Washington for the talented signal-caller. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Allar is tabbed by the Top247 as the nation’s No. 6 pro-style passer and No. 89 prospect overall.
