USATSI The full 2022 NBA Draft order is officially set after the lottery's results were revealed Tuesday night in Chicago, lining up the first 14 picks and giving us for the first time a clear picture of the order for all 58 of this year's selections just over one month away from the draft. There's thus far been no consensus about which prospect will go No. 1 -- or 2 or 3 or 4, for that matter -- but Orlando winning the lottery means for now we've projected a frontcourt player in our latest mock for them. Getty Images The complete 2022 NBA Draft order is set. The Orlando Magic won the No. 1 overall pick in Tuesday night's NBA Draft Lottery. The Thunder, Rockets, Kings and Pistons round out the top five for June 23's draft. The Heat, Celtics, Warriors and Mavericks remain in the fight for the 2022 NBA title, but the overwhelming majority of the league has turned its attention to the offseason. The Draft Lottery was one of the notable events on the early offseason calendar, and teams can now try to figure out exactly who they'll select after the top 14 spots were sorted out on Tuesday. So what about the rest of the draft order? The 16 teams in the playoff field will choose after that in order of regular-season record to close out the first round. The U.S. Soccer Federation reached milestone agreements to pay its men’s and women’s teams equally, making the American national governing body the first in the sport to promise both sexes matching money. The federation announced separate collective bargaining agreements through December 2028 with the unions for both national teams on Wednesday, ending years of often acrimonious negotiations. The men have been playing under the terms of a CBA that expired in December 2018 . The women’s CBA expired at the end of March but talks continued after the federation and the players agreed to settle a gender discrimination lawsuit brought by some of the players in 2019. When Nathan Chen returns to Yale late this summer after a two-year leave of absence, his housing arrangement will make Chen think he is going back to the future. “I feel like I’m a returning first-year,” said Chen, actually a rising junior. He has a room on Yale’s Old Campus, where the residence halls are primarily occupied by first-year students. It is where he lived the first time around after matriculating in the 2018-19 academic year. The difference this time is Chen also wants to feel present on campus in a way he could not during his first two years of college, when he jammed studies and an international figure skating career into days that seemed too short. He wants to find a fun extracurricular activity or two that aren’t related to skating. He wants to take guitar lessons.
