It's the No. 1-seed Chiefs against the No. 1-seed Eagles -- a battle between two of the league's most explosive offenses, two of this year's MVP finalists, and both literal and proverbial brothers, with star siblings Travis and Jason Kelce squaring off on the field, and Chiefs coach Andy Reid up against the franchise that employed him for more than a decade. Most Super Bowls feel like a true coin flip, and this one's no different. The New York Giants have several important decisions to make this offseason, and the most important one has to do with their quarterback. It started with Dan Campbell's kneecap comment when he was introduced as head coach. Then, the Lions quickly rose up through the "most likable" team power rankings with an appearance on HBO's "Hard Knocks." Detroit didn't let its new fans down in 2022, with a roller coaster of a season that ended on a high note. The Lions started off the 2022 campaign 1-6, but rebounded to win eight of their final 10 games. Getty Images Sean Payton is heading to the Denver Broncos as the franchise's next head coach, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jonathan Jones , after Denver reportedly acquire his contractual rights from the New Orleans Saints . The Saints and Broncos have finalized trade compensation for head coach Sean Payton, according to ESPN , paving the way for the Super Bowl champion head coach to become Denver's next head coach. Denver sends it's 2023 first-round pick from San Francisco (No. 30 overall) and a 2024 second-round pick to New Orleans for Payton and their 2024 third-round pick, according to Adam Schefter . The first-round pick being sent by Denver is actually the one acquired from the Dolphins in exchange for linebacker Bradley Chubb . For the second time in three seasons, the New England Patriots found themselves on the outside looking in on the postseason. A large part of that lack of success in 2022 came due to a disjointed attack on offense headlined by Bill Belichick tapping both Matt Patricia and Joe Judge to oversee the offense. That saw a dramatic dip in production on that side of the ball and a regression from 2021 first-rounder Mac Jones . That is, when a player is ready to play in the majors, just bring him up instead of worrying how much it'll cost in player control and arbitration salary in future years. Perhaps, very soon, a top prospect starting with the team out of spring training won't be a story.
