The 23-year-old Gebrhiwet had a slight slip-up in the final turn coming onto Charles Street that allowed True, a Maine native, along with Curtin, to make up ground and put the pressure on the BAA to go to replay to determine the winner. All three finished with a time 13 minutes 42 seconds. Advertisement “I got confused. I didn’t know which [way] to turn,” said Gebrhiwet, who won the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics in the 5,000 meters.
