According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network , the league informed clubs on Thursday that the players within the International Player Pathway program will be able to visibly represent their country during the 2021 preseason by wearing a decal of their country's flag on their helmet in addition to the U.S. flag. Those 14 players are currently on 11 teams throughout the NFL and originate from eight different countries. Bellerin, 26, is wanted by Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid and would be keen to join two clubs who could offer him the Champions League football that Arsenal cannot. However, the two clubs have so far indicated that they can only afford to loan the right back as they battle to improve their financial situation. Arsenal, however, want to sell their vice captain and at the very least would want any loan agreement to come with a commitment to purchase the player next summer, when he will have just 12 months remaining on his contract.
