Eden Hazard has laid bare the inner turmoil he is feeling about his future, but revealed that he is now willing to open talks with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich about his future despite a lifelong dream to join Real Madrid. However, Hazard also admitted that there are days both when he wakes up thinking that he would like to leave and stay with Chelsea. In a remarkably candid interview, Hazard said that he expected to be happy with either outcome and described the club’s current football under new manager Maurizio Sarri as the very best since he joined from Lille six years ago. Like Courtois this summer, who failed to report for training before eventually getting his move to Real Madrid, Hazard will be in the final 12 months of his contract next year. “I don't want that,” said Hazard. “I want what's … [Read more...] about Eden Hazard ready to discuss new deal with Chelsea – ‘I want what’s good for the club that’s given me everything’

You may recall a school-playground footballing staple known in some parts as "One Touch" or "Wall Ball". In all its glorious simplicity, the game consisted of taking it in turns to strike a battered leather Mitre Delta against a flat surface with a single kick until only one unerringly accurate participant remained. There was much for Unai Emery to be encouraged by in this Arsenal performance, having seen his team fall two behind in 20 minutes, they responded well with goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi and another afternoon that suggested Matteo Guendouzi will be a fine player. The 19-year-old passed the ball forward relentlessly and … [Read more...] about Eden Hazard proves the difference as Chelsea overcome Arsenal resurgence in five-goal thriller
