Asia Cup Will be Postponed Until 2023 if India Qualify for World Test Championship Final: Ehsan Mani

· February 28, 2021 ·

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ehsan Mani claims that the Asia Cup 2021 might get postponed to 2021 if India qualify for the final of the World Test Championship. India are in a pole position to seal the place in the final against New Zealand in the WTC final at Lord’s. The Asian giants need to draw or win the last Test match against England in the ongoing series to face NZ. If India lose the Test, then Australia will qualify for the summit on a higher winning percentage. The World Test Championship final is slated at Lord’s from June 18-22 and it is expected to clash with the Asia Cup 2021 schedule. “The way things look most probably the Asia Cup will be postponed until 2023,” Ehsan Mani said at a media conference. The Buzzer: Overtime heroics and more from Saturday in the NHL

· February 28, 2021 ·

NHL Three Stars from Saturday 1. Kris Letang , Pittsburgh Penguins If any team must want the Penguins to trade Kris Letang — preferably out of their division — it might be the New York Islanders. Back on Feb. 20, Letang began his current point streak by scoring two goals vs. the Islanders. Remarkably, Letang was even more productive against the Islanders on Saturday. The talented-if-often-criticized defenseman scored two goals (scroll for some overtime heroics) plus an assist. The blueliner extended his point streak to four games (4G, 3A). Letang’s now at four goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 18 games. You’d think trading Letang would really only make sense if the Penguins planned on blowing things up. (Again, the Islanders might be nudging them on this one. Maybe to the point where they’re overplaying their hand.) 2. … [Read more...] about The Buzzer: Overtime heroics and more from Saturday in the NHL
