The South Carolina Gamecocks are already getting a head start with four bicycles and weekly missions. Every Friday before the season begins, sports performance coach Molly Binetti holds one-hour workouts she calls "Final Four Fridays." Each week is different, but every session has a mission requiring the players to work as a team and visualize challenges they will face throughout the upcoming season. One of the challenges is biking the number of miles it will take to travel from Columbia to whichever city the Final Four will be held next. The Commonwealth Games 2022 came to an end with a lavish closing ceremony on Monday. With more than 4,500 athletes competing from 72 countries over the past 11 days, India finished with 61 medals, consisting of 22 gold, 16 silver, and 23 bronze. Thanks to the heroics of badminton stars like Lakshya Sen, PV Sindhu, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy that India could add three more gold medals. The fourth gold of the day came through 40-year-old Achanta Sharath Kamal who won the men's singles table tennis event. This incredible feat was the pinnacle of what was a roller coaster ride for the Savita-led Indian team who showed resilience to bounce back from a heartbreaking ninth place finish at the FIH Women's World Cup which took place in the Netherlands and Spain in July.
