Clemson receiver Amari Rodgers broke out in 2020, making 77 catches for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games. Those are big numbers for a player who projects to play in the slot in the NFL, and he's an interesting draft prospect due to how frequently pro teams use three wide receivers these days. Certainly for a slot prospect Rodgers has a great track record. ESPN ranks Rodgers as just the No. 33 receiver in the draft and the No. 196 overall prospect, and it seems like he'll have a chance to out-perform that position significantly in the NFL. Adam Humphries is another recent Clemson alum who has blossomed into a solid slot receiver in the NFL despite posting much less prolific numbers in college.
