Weatherald then took the aggressive route and struck a six and two boundaries in the next two overs to take the side past 50. Carey too joined the party when he smashed Marnus Labuschagne for two consecutive sixes in the sixth over before being dropped on the fifth ball. Labuschagne, though, ended the over with the wicket of Weatherald but Strikers managed to score at 11 runs per over in the powerplay.
