On Monday night, the North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball game was postponed roughly two hours before tip due to apparent concerns over COVID-19. It was later revealed that those ‘concerns’ were because of a video that surfaced after the Tar Heels win over Duke in which Day’Ron Sharpe and Armando Bacot were seen partying without masks, which led Miami to feel uncomfortable in playing the game. The video in question was captured on social media app Snapchat and released by The Daily Tar Heel, North Carolina's student newspaper. Williams debuted a pair of Air Jordan Retro I sneakers in a Carolina blue and white-based design with premium suede and black accents. These however aren't your usual team-only editions given to the Tar Heels. The unique colorway will be available at select retailers later this spring and is expected to be one of the more coveted drops of the year for the Swoosh.
