0 Have your say Scottish football is recovering. It may not be what it once was in terms of stature, at least compared with other leagues around Europe, but it at least seems that we’ve hit our nadir and are on the way back up. They won’t feature.Mulumbu makes the list because, a) he signed in November, and b) he made such an impact that it was impossible not to include him, even though that would have made things simpler. Kilmarnock … [Read more...] about The top 50 players in Scottish football this season (50-41)

Thanks to European Union freedom of movement laws and court rulings, they were able to move seamlessly across international borders to make their mark on the Scottish game. Otherwise, there’s less money in Scottish sport from media rights generally, so Scottish clubs may find it harder to attract the calibre of talent that would be eligible to come here if EU players are subject to the same rules as non-EU players. Paul McMahon There are countless European sportsmen and women, coaches and backroom staff enhancing sport in the UK, whether on the football or rugby pitch, cricket ground or ice hockey rink, the basketball court and … [Read more...] about Will Scottish football be relegated by Brexit fall-out?
