Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan is one of the most prominent players of Team India currently. India skipper Hardik Pandya on Thursday said in-form opener Shubman Gill will start the T20 series against New Zealand ahead of Prithvi Shaw , who has made a comeback to the national team. Considering Gill's sensational run in ODIs, Hardik said his selection was a no-brainer. Gill has smashed three hundreds including a double ton in his last four innings. Veteran Atlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis has reversed his opt out decision. Markakis will be rejoining the team despite opting out of the 2020 MLB season earlier this month , the team announced Wednesday. The timeline for his return to the lineup is not yet known, but he will soon be moved off the restricted list.
