Brennan competed during fall camp for LSU’s starting job with f ormer Arizona State transfer Jayden Daniels and redshirt freshman Garrett Nussmeier . Brennan was set to return for his sixth season with the Tigers after signing with the program in 2017 under former head coach Les Miles .
