Mixed Martial Arts in India and Kumite 1 League: A Step In The Right Direction

Josh Allen took a “step in the right direction”
AP One man’s trash is another man’s potential treasure. In Josh Allen’s first game after the publication of unflattering comments from Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey regarding the seventh overall pick in the 2018 draft, Allen performed well enough to garner praise, albeit measured, from his head coach. “I don’t want to try to quantify his best or what,” coach Sean McDermott told reporters. “It looked like it was a step in the right direction. Certainly he got some meaningful time in the first half, which was important. He directed a two-minute drive before halftime, came out after halftime and took control of the first series there, which is good experience for him.” Allen completed nine of 13 passes (69 percent accuracy) for 60 yards and a touchdown in three drives, generating 10 points. On a two-yard scoring throw to receiver Rod Streater, Allen showed the ability to keep the play alive with video-game quality hops and bursts left … [Read more...] about Josh Allen took a “step in the right direction”
Josh Rosen: Saturday night a step in the right direction
AP Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen got his first taste of NFL game action against the Chargers on Saturday night. Sam Bradford started and played one series before turning over the reins of the offense to the first-round pick. Rosen went 6-of-13 for 41 yards without a touchdown or an interception, although he would have had one of the latter if Chargers cornerback Desmond King could have held onto one errant toss. Rosen also had to deal with several bad snaps from center Daniel Munyer that coach Steve Wilks said “caused him a little bit of a problem going through his progressions” and the pass protection was shaky in general. Wilks said the team expects Rosen to get better and “learn and grow from” mistakes in his first outing. “I thought I did some good things, some bad things, but for the most part, it was a step in the right direction,” Rosen said, via Kent Somers of AZCentral.com. Rosen will try to take another one against the Saints in … [Read more...] about Josh Rosen: Saturday night a step in the right direction
