Handy cameos from Sai Kishore (29 not out) and M Mohammed (20 notout) took them to the eventual winning score of 266 for 7. Jharkhand lost three men early in the chase, but Virat Singh (49) and Sumit Kumar (40) briefly offered hope with a 64-run partnership. The duo stitched a 110-run stand for the third wicket to help their side ease past the 158-run target in only 16.2 overs. Put in to bat, Lahore lost their openers - Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar - early, which included a maiden-wicket over in the powerplay by Carlos Brathwaite. However, the in-form Mohammad Hafeez, yet again, bailed the team out from a precarious position, this time in company of Joe Denly. The duo put on an 89-run stand in only 9.1 overs, with Hafeez playing the aggressor. However, a couple of quick strikes, followed by Hafeez's run out on a 35-ball 60 further dented their innings. The CAS announced its decision in a consolidated order on the appeals filed by Umar and the Pakistan Cricket Board. Umar was initially suspended from all cricket activities on February 20 last year for not reporting approaches made to him for spot-fixing in the Pakistan Super League. On Friday, the PCB said that Umar will now be eligible to reintegrate into competitive cricket subject to deposits of fine of PKR 4,250,000 and undergoing the program of rehabilitation under the PCB Anti-Corruption Code. Umar was banned for three years by PCB's Anti-Corruption Tribunal in April last year but he appealed the decision and an Independent Adjudicator, Justice (read) Fakhir Muhammad Khokar reduced the ban in late July to 18-months. It was despite PCB's contention that the batsman had shown no remorse over his actions of not reporting a corruption approach.
