USMNT name training camp roster before Olympic qualifying
The USMNT have revealed their training camp roster ahead of Olympic qualifying this month, and it is absolutely stacked with young U.S. talent. [ MORE: How to watch PL in the USA ] Jason Kreis has named a 28-man roster which will be cut down to 20 players 10 days before the tournament begins, per CONCACAF rules. The USMNT U23 side will now head to a training camp in Mexico. Players born on or after Jan. 1, 1997 are eligible to compete in the tournament, which is essentially a under 24 tournament. CHICAGO (AP) The U.S. Soccer Federation’s athletes council removed one of its members Sunday, Seth Jahn, a day after he made a speech at the federation’s annual general meeting against removing an anti-kneeling policy. The USSF board voted to repeal the policy on June 9, a decision the online annual meeting affirmed Saturday by 71.34% voting in favor of repeal.
