Behind Shikhar Dhawan 's cheerful exterior lies an intensely "spiritual man" who has made peace with representing India in only one format. Approaching his 37th birthday, Dhawan has made a pledge to himself. The 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad came to end in Mamallapuram on Tuesday with the Uzbekistan team winning the gold medal in the open category. Seeded 14th, it did not lose even a single game on way to winning the top prize. Jakhongir Vakhidov from Uzbekistan team told NDTV that they were very satisified with the result. "We are very happy. India 'B' defeated Germany 3-1 in their final round match to end at third position. Indian pacer Renuka Singh has stormed to the 18th spot in the ICC Women's T20I Rankings for bowlers after finishing as the top wicket-taker in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
