Its February 2008, AFC Bournemouth had just been placed in administration and deducted 10 points and faced the genuine possibility of going out of business completely. Now fast forward just over eight years and they are sitting pretty comfortably in 13th position, 12 points clear of safety and just two points away from the magic ’40 point’ mark. With Leicester performing miracles at the top and West Ham not all too far behind them, no one seems to be giving Bournemouth the credit they deserve for their impressive debut season in the Premier League.
