Kiper: Trey Lance is most fascinating player in NFL Draft

· February 9, 2021 ·

The 2021 NFL Draft class is loaded with talent at the quarterback position, with as many as five signal-callers projected to land somewhere in the first round. Among that group is North Dakota State star Trey Lance , who opted out of the FCS football season after it was pushed back to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the redshirt sophomore has just one season of starting experience under his belt. But Lance impressed in his lone season as a starter, leading the Bison to a perfect 16-0 mark capped off with a national championship. For those reasons, ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. believes Lance is one of the most fascinating players in the draft. "That's the most fascinating player in the draft probably in a long time is Trey Lance because of the circumstances you had to deal with COVID," Kiper said on the latest First Draft podcast . “Only one football game they played. If you go back to that game, whether it was rusty or pressing, he did not … [Read more...] about Kiper: Trey Lance is most fascinating player in NFL Draft

India vs England 2021: Bell feels visitors guilty of thinking too far ahead, gone wrong with rotation policy

· February 26, 2021 ·

England fell to an embarrassing 10-wicket defeat in the third Test against India to go down 1-2 in the four-match series, while also getting knocked out of contention from the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final in June. "I think England have been guilty of thinking too far ahead of having a squad for the Ashes when actually this is bigger than the Ashes, this is probably as big as the Ashes," Bell told 'ESPNcricinfo'. "Why are we rotating in the biggest Test series you are playing in? For me that's where England have gone a bit wrong," he added. The 38-year-old, who featured in 118 Tests for England, feels for the English players for whom the tours to India and Australia can make or break careers. India vs England 2021: Looking at bigger picture, rotation policy has merit, says James Anderson "These tours, certainly for Englishmen coming to India or going to Australia are the pinnacle. They make your careers, you look back and if you win in those conditions they are … [Read more...] about India vs England 2021: Bell feels visitors guilty of thinking too far ahead, gone wrong with rotation policy

Silverwood, Root to discuss on making official representation over Ahmedabad pitch

· February 26, 2021 ·

ENGLAND TOUR OF INDIA, 2021 by Rob Johnston • Last updated on Share Tweet We do have to get better on these pitches and we do have to accept there's places where we could have improved: Silverwood © Getty Head coach Chris Silverwood says he will sit down with Joe Root to discuss whether England should make any official representations about the standard of the third Test pitch in Ahmedabad. The game concluded early in the final session of the second day, the shortest Test match since 1935, as both England and India struggled with a surface that spun appreciably. India lost seven wickets for 46 on the second day - with Joe Root taking 5 for 8 - while England were then hustled out for just 81 in their second innings. In all, 17 wickets fell in the first two sessions of day two. Although both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma both said the pitch was good for batting at the conclusion of the game, others, including Yuvraj Singh … [Read more...] about Silverwood, Root to discuss on making official representation over Ahmedabad pitch

WWE Friday Night Smackdown preview and schedule: February 26, 2021

· February 26, 2021 ·

We expect the fallouts to be gathered from the bygone pay-per-view while the initial builds for the next one should also be there. Plus, the rivalry of Edge and Roman Reigns will be the headliner of tonight’s show which is set t take place at the Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida. Daniel Bryan outlasted five other opponents to win the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match to get a chance against Roman Reigns over the Universal Title. The problem for the “Yes” Man was that he had to face the champion, the same night, after going through the hellacious experience inside the unforgiving steel cage structure. So Reigns had no problem to put his opponent out with the Guillotine Chokehold submission move and continue with his title reign. After the ruthless displays of dominance, The Tribal Chief stood tall but moments later The Rated-R Superstar, Edge stunned Reigns with a mammoth Spear, which was in respomse to the champ's action last Friday night. Also, pointing towards the … [Read more...] about WWE Friday Night Smackdown preview and schedule: February 26, 2021
