"The Yo-Yo test is meant to test the aerobic capacity of a player," he explains. "When a player runs and how much time he takes to recover - that makes it a good parameter to test the fitness. The players are now required to play several formats - Tests, four-day games, one-day games and T20s - and some players get tired very easily.
